The Transportation Safety Administration agent who was caught in a viral video yanking a bomb-sniffing canine inside a Detroit airport is now beneath investigation.
The video of the incident — which exhibits the agent aggressively yanking and pulling the canine round vacationers on the Detroit Metro Airport — went viral on social media on Sunday after a Reddit consumer shared it.
“I used to be shocked at how this airport handler is dragging this poor pup round,” the consumer wrote. “There is not any purpose anybody ought to be flipping a working canine round by its harness like this.”

The TSA stated in a statement: “The conduct displayed by this handler is unacceptable and never throughout the excessive requirements we maintain our officers to.”
As of Monday morning, TSA stated the agent was taken off dealing with duties as they examine his actions. The bomb-sniffing canine was “taken instantly to a veterinarian for a wellness examination,” the company added.
