A 33-year-old man fell 4,000 ft to his demise from Grand Canyon West's Skywalk, police say

The unidentified 33-year-old man “went over the sting on the Skywalk,” falling about 4,000 ft on June 5, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Workplace advised native Fox 10 Phoenix.
“About 9am Monday (6/5) morning, the technical rope rescue workforce from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Workplace Search and Rescue responded to Grand Canyon West Skywalk for a 33-year-old male who went over the sting on the Sky Stroll into the canyon,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned, per Fox 10.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Workplace didn’t instantly reply to Insider’s request for remark. Authorities haven’t launched the person’s id or whether or not his fall was unintentional or intentional. The Grand Canyon has a historical past of deaths by suicide.
“Two short-haul technicians (rope specialists) responded with [a] Kingman DPS Ranger helicopter to the scene,” the sheriff’s workplace advised Fox 10. They discovered the sufferer lifeless on the scene, the outlet reported.
