Airplane crew members subdued a 19-year-old passenger with a 'lasso rope and tie wraps' after he tried opening the emergency door

A 19-year-old South Korean man was detained after he tried to open an airplane’s door halfway by a flight from Cebu, Philippines, to Seoul, South Korea.
About an hour into the Jeju Air flight, the passenger started “performing unusually,” airline officers instructed CNN. After complaining about strain in his chest, he was moved to the entrance of the aircraft to be monitored by crew members. Then, he all of a sudden darted towards the emergency exit, making an attempt to open it, CNN reported.
The passenger was “instantly subdued by the crew, who used a lasso rope and tie wraps to maintain him managed for the remainder of the flight,” Jeju Airways officers instructed CNN. Not one of the 180 passengers aboard had been injured, based on the airline.
Representatives for the airline didn’t instantly reply to Insider’s request for remark.
The person was handed over to native police when the flight landed at Seoul’s Incheon Airport round 7:30 a.m. native time on Monday morning, based on CNN. Airport police instructed the outlet the passenger hasn’t but defined his motive for the incident.

The incident comes a month after a person efficiently opened a aircraft’s emergency door on an Asiana Airways flight.
