It has been a tough few months for Siri, and now she’s preventing again.

Throughout a Main League Baseball sport this weekend, Boston Purple Sox long-time radio announcer Joe Castiglione introduced that Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Siri was coming to bat. That is issues went off the rails a bit due to his iPhone.

After Castiglione stated the human Siri’s title, Apple’s Siri could be heard within the background and seems to say, “Thanks, Joseph” with another inaudible feedback. After a second of confusion, all the sales space erupted in laughter on the blunder.

After attempting to convey consideration again to the sport, Castiglione scolded the iPhone, saying, “I am not asking you, Siri. Not this Siri. That Siri!”

Sadly for Siri and her outdated nemesis Alexa, the flavour of the month is ChatGPT, and the unique private digital assistants are being forgotten. So whereas Apple and Amazon attempt to play catch-up, it is good to see Siri have yet one more second within the solar at a baseball sport.
