Sam Asghari broke his silence Thursday after submitting for divorce from Britney Spears.

The “Household Enterprise” star reportedly walked away from his marriage to Spears regardless of a prenup clause that acknowledged he would earn $1 million for each two years the couple remained married, in line with Web page Six.

“After 6 years of affection and dedication to one another my spouse and I’ve determined to finish our journey collectively,” Asghari wrote to his Instagram story, which self-deletes after 24 hours. “We are going to maintain onto the love and respect we’ve for one another and I want her the very best at all times.”
