Police allege a Texas man briefly left his dinner date to homicide somebody he believed had scammed him of $40 in a restaurant parking zone

It’s alleged that Erick Aguirre, 29, was eating with a girl at a burger joint in Houston when he realized that he had been s ripped-off over the parking cost, courtroom data stated, based on the Related Press.

He’s accused of returning to the parking zone to fatally shoot 46-year-old Elliot Nix, who had been posing as a parking attendant.

Aguirre then returned for dinner at Houston’s Rodeo Goat restaurant and informed his date that “all the things was advantageous” and that he had simply scared the scammer. 

The couple then walked to a desk however ultimately left to eat elsewhere after Aguirre regarded uncomfortable, based on courtroom data, per AP.

Aguirre was arrested after his date contacted police two days after the incident after they launched images of the couple, who had been recognized by way of Crime Stoppers ideas.
