There are numerous causes to go to Paris, from its haute delicacies and Haussmann structure to its café tradition and world-class purchasing. However on my current journey to the French capital, I went for a special, very particular purpose: I had a haircut appointment. 

I flew seven hours from New York to Paris for a session with Delphine Courteille, one of many metropolis’s most well-known hairdressers, and paid €250, or about $270, for a method session, lower, and blow-dry.

The whirlwind expertise was every thing I may’ve hoped for. Here is what it was like.
