A PETA advert put up within the English seaside city of Cleethorpes has gone viral after suggesting that consuming cats and fish is identical factor. 

The advert, which the nonprofit animal rights group positioned outdoors a fish and chip store, contains a lady dressed as a fishmonger holding a cat. Beneath the picture it reads: “Sea issues in a special mild. Respect all life. Go vegan.”

A passerby instructed a BBC reporter that they thought the advert was “a bit sick”.

“It is a cat. You do not eat a cat,” he stated. 

 

One particular person wrote on Twitter, “A cat is a mammal that is delicate and cuddly, more often than not, and interacts with people whereas a fish is chilly and has hardly any interplay with us.”

Chatting with the BBC, PETA’s Jennifer White stated the poster was meant “to remind folks that each one animals deserve safety,” including that the fishing business was the “largest killer of animals on the planet”.
